About KK4WMI Amateur Radio Practice Tests

Hi - I'm James Strickland (KK4WMI), a licensed amateur radio operator. I built this site to help you pass your FCC Amateur Radio exams the friendly way: quick, colorful, and mobile-first.

If this free ham radio practice test helped you study or pass your FCC exam, a small 99-cent donation keeps the project running and helps cover hosting costs. Thank you for your support!

  2. Find an exam session: Search for Volunteer Examiner (VE) sessions at ARRL.org or HamStudy.org
  3. Take the exam: Pass with 74% or higher to earn your license
